About Me.

A Family Tree researcher for over 30 years and a blogger since 2010, I love to share what I find. This blog has opened up a new way to contact and keep in-touch with both family and friends. It mightn't always be genealogy related and you might not agree with my point of view but I want you to comment, ask questions and look upon this blog as 'friends having a chat'.

Our blogging mates in the United States are required to have a disclosure statement on their blog sites. The Federal Trade Commission requires bloggers to have a Disclosure statement - those who don't disclose affiliations can be fined for positive product reviews.

I think that it is important to be transparent and have such a statement. In Australia it is possible for bloggers to write favourably about products from which they may receive a financial benefit. I believe that bloggers should be up front about any affiliations they may have. For that reason I am providing this statement.
I have no accreditation, to research for others and this is something I'm working towards.

I do not receive any form of payment for any product I mention, in my blogs.
Spelling and typing mistakes will happen and I will try and correct them.
